Luc Vankrunkelsven woonde en werkte van 2003 tot 2008 deeltijds in Brazilië, deeltijds in Europa. Tijdens deze jaren van uitwisseling tussen Wervel (www.wervel.be) en Fetraf-Sul/Cut (www.fetrafsul.org.br) schreef hij de twee boeken “Kruisende schepen in de nacht. Soja over de oceaan” en “Dageraad over de akkers. Soja anders”.
